The MOTHER 1+2 Screen Cleaners were released in Japan in November 2003 by Yujin. They were available individually inside gashapon (capsule toy) machines to promote MOTHER 1+2, a compilation port of two classic role-playing games that was released for the Game Boy Advance in Japan on June 20, 2003.
There are 10 MOTHER 1+2 screen cleaners to collect. The characters included in this set are:
The human characters are accompanied by a dialog box with “You Win!” text in the middle and the Saturns feature Saturn-ish sayings. All ten screen cleaners feature the MOTHER 1+2 logo.
