I was leisurely browsing around Amazon Japan this morning when I spotted two new Mario toys that I hadn’t seen before. They’re from New Super Mario Bros. Wii and they make noise~

The toys are interactive, so they make little sounds whenever you make Mario move. The toy on the left makes the warp pipe sound, and the one on the right makes the 1-UP sound. I don’t know if the continuous 1-UP trick is doable in New SMB Wii, but it’s something that’s been around since Super Mario’s humble beginnings.
Both of these toys were released a few weeks ago and you can grab ‘em on Amazon Japan right now:
- Buy the New SMB Wii Sound Figure – Warp Pipe – 777 yen (~$10 USD)
- Buy the New SMB Wii Sound Figure – 1-UP – 777 yen (~$10 USD)
Amazon Japan is being stingy with these toys and they won’t ship them worldwide, but a good proxy service can help you get around that.
