It’s time for more DQ Anniversary goodies. Metallic Monsters Gallery is a regular line of Dragon Quest figures, but a trio of the most popular Slimes have received a shiny gold finish in honor of the anniversary:
These golden anniversary Slime figures are pretty small at 4 – 6.5 centimeters wide. The Slime and Metabble figures cost 1,800 yen each (~$23 USD), and the King Slime is 2,180 yen (~$28 USD). AmiAmi and Amazon Japan have all three of these figures up for pre-order at a little discount. They’ll be released near the end of October.
Next up is this cute Slime keychain:
The Slime part is 3.5 centimeters, while the entire keychain measures 7.3 centimeters. As you can see, the anniversary logo is stamped on the back of the Slime. This one will be released in mid-October for 1,500 yen (~$20 USD), but some importers are letting you pre-order it at a discount:
