A replica Mega Buster built by a skilled automotive body work technician and Mega Man fan showed up on eBay recently. The frame is built from wood and PVC and the shell is fiberglass, so it’s extremely sturdy. It features a bright yellow LED power level strip and a red nose cone light too!
This replica is the result of 100+ hours of work and it’s about as realistic as you can get. There aren’t any pictures of anyone wearing the finished product, but here’s one of someone wearing the frame:
The replica Mega Buster could be yours … for $2000. Or you could try your luck at bidding on it, but the starting bid is set at $1,700. It’s clear that a lot of love went into this replica, so I don’t blame the guy for setting the price so high.
